Lowe (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the 49ers.
Lowe will be forced to miss a second straight game due to a knee injury. Caedan Wallace (knee) is also questionable to play, so New England may be down to third-stringer Demontrey Jacobs at left tackle in Week 4.
