Perkins signed a contract with the Colts' practice squad Thursday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Perkins bounced around practice squads last season and also logged 29 yards on 12 rushing attempt in four games with the Lions. Perkins will add a veteran presence and depth to the organization, as the team is currently set with Jonathan Taylor, Jordan Wilkins and Nyheim Hines at running back.
