Echols (undisclosed) was waived by the Seahawks on Sunday with an injury designation, John Boyle of the team's official website reports.
Echols appears to have suffered an undisclosed injury at some point during the preseason. If he clears waivers, the linebacker will revert to injured reserve with Seattle.
