Dallas signed Fant to the practice squad Wednesday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Fant played in two regular-season games for the Cowboys in 2023 and spent most of the year on the team's practice squad. He'll reprise that role for the upcoming season, and he could be elevated to the active roster if any of the tight ends on the initial 53-man roster were to miss time.
