Brown had been dealing with a lingering hamstring issue, but he shed the injury designation ahead of Week 8 and has since been a healthy scratch in back-to-back games. Denzel Perryman drew the start in Brown's absence last week and picked up eight tackles. It's unclear if Perryman has won the starting spot for good, but he figures to draw another sizable role in Week 9.
