The Raiders activated Mariota (pectoral) from injured reserve Tuesday.
Mariota picked up a strained pectoral in the later stages of training camp and opened the season on IR. The Raiders opened his 21-day window to be activated to the active roster Sept. 30, so the team used the entire three weeks to ensure his health before bringing him back. Expect Mariota to serve as Derek Carr's backup moving forward.
