Peterman was activated from the practice squad Sunday.
Peterman will serve as the primary backup quarterback after Marcus Mariota was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. This will be just the second time this season that Peterman is active. In his last game, he played four snaps and had two rushing attempts for two yards, but barring an injury to Derek Carr, he isn't expected to see the field Sunday.
