Jackson has been suspended two games for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy, Tyler Dragon of USA Today and Cameron DaSilva of USA Today report.
Jackson, who has been sidelined with an ankle injury of late, was projected to be the Rams' starting left tackle this season. He's now slated to miss the team's first two regular-season games and will be eligible to return to action in Week 3 against the 49ers. In his looming absence, Joe Noteboom is a candidate to fill in for Jackson.
