Head coach Sean McVay told reporters after Saturday's practice session that Jackson is considered week-to-week after rolling his ankle in practice last Thursday, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Jackson was initially labelled as day-to-day after rolling his ankle, but McVay relayed that he doesn't want to rush the 26-year-old lineman back to practice. Jackson, who is slated to serve as the Rams' starting left tackle, will likely sit for Sunday's preseason opener against the Cowboys, but he could also be kept out of the following game against the Chargers on Aug. 17. In Jackson's absence, AJ Arcuri and Joe Noteboom will have an opportunity for more reps at left tackle with the first-team offense.
