Howell (hamstring) is doubtful for Monday's wild-card matchup, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.
Howell was unable to practice this week and appears unlikely to suit up in the playoff opener. He's played primarily on special teams this year, so his status shouldn't impact the Rams' backfield rotation.
