Head coach Jeff Fisher named Nick Foles the Rams' starting quarterback for Sunday's game versus the Cardinals, meaning Keenum (concussion) will be the No. 2 QB, at best, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Because Keenum logged limited practices Wednesday or Thursday, Fisher made the decision with plenty of time to spare for the showdown with the NFC West leaders. If Keenum receives clearance from the concussion protocol, he may serve as Foles' primary backup, but the inactive list is a distinct landing spot for Keenum for a second consecutive game. Another absence would place Sean Mannion in the No. 2 role.
