Gaines (hand) underwent surgery Monday but is still expected to play in Sunday's matchup with the Ravens, J.B. Long of the Los Angeles Rams Radio Network reports.
Gaines injured his hand in the Rams' Week 16 matchup with the Vikings. He is expected to cast up following surgery and play through it.
