Hekker (undisclosed) was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 injured list Thursday, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.
Hekker was away from the team for a week and a half due to the league's health and safety protocols, but he'll have just over a week to prepare for the Week 1 matchup against the Bears. The 31-year-old officially won the job as the Rams' starting punter for 2021 after Corey Bojorquez was traded to the Packers on Tuesday.
