Whittington did not catch his sole target and logged one tackle on kick coverage during the Rams' 24-9 win over the Chargers on Sunday.
Whittington played just four offensive snaps while logging 18 special-teams snaps in Sunday's contest. The wide receiver was able to overcome a back injury to play in the game, but the No. 4 option was overshadowed by the Rams' 13-personnel packages favoring tight ends.
