The Rams elevated Karty from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
Nate Atkins of The Athletic reported Thursday that the Rams used Week 8 prep to experiment having two kickers on the roster, with Karty handling kickoffs and Brandon McManus responsible for field goals and extra points. Karty appeared in eight regular-season games for the Rams in 2025 but was cut in late November after missing five field-goal attempts and three extra-point tries in that span.
