Stafford completed 28 of 41 pass attempts for 334 yards and three touchdowns against Detroit on Sunday.
Stafford wasn't exactly explosive against his former team, averaging a somewhat modest 8.2 yards per attempt, but he kept the Rams offense on track all game and steadily led them into scoring range. He made touchdown passes when it counted, too, as his three scores were the only touchdowns the Rams punched in Sunday. The Rams running game will probably do more lifting against Houston in Week 8 after producing just 49 yards on 17 carries against Detroit on Sunday, but the throwing conditions should remain favorable for Stafford, too.
