Coples has signed a two-year deal with the Rams, NFL.com reports.
Coples, whose deal carries a maximum value of $9.75 million, figures to work as a defensive end in the Rams' 4-3 defense, with the team looking to add some pass-rushing depth following the offseason departure of Chris Long. Though Coples was limited to just eight tackles in 2015, he did record 37 tackles and 6.5 sacks while with the Jets in 2014.
