Havenstein (ankle) will be inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Lions, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Havenstein has been nursing an ankle injury and he'll ultimately be forced to miss the opener against Detroit. Joe Noteboom will likely take over at starting right tackle versus the Lions.
