Avila sustained an MCL sprain during Sunday's 26-20 overtime loss to the Lions, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Rapoport relays that Avila will undergo further testing Monday to determine the severity of his MCL sprain. Assuming Avila ends up missing time due to the injury, Jonah Jackson would likely slide over from center to start at left guard.
