James (Achilles) had his practice window expire Wednesday and reverted to the reserve/non-football injury list, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
James was designated to return from the NFI list in early December, but he's not ready to be activated at the close of his 21-day practice window. He hasn't seen the field since 2019 since he opted out of the 2020 campaign due to COVID-19 concerns.
