Ravens' Rasheen Ali: Makes little impact Friday
Ali carried the ball 10 times for 26 yards and caught one of three targets for four yards in Friday's 16-13 preseason loss to the Eagles. He also returned one kickoff for 31 yards.
The Ravens rested their key offensive personnel, including Derrick Henry and Justice Hill, but it was undrafted second-year player Owen Wright who got the start in the backfield and played the entire first half. Ali, a fifth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, took over in the third quarter but managed only 30 scrimmage yards on 11 touches to Wright's 50 yards on eight touches. With Keaton Mitchell (knee) also expected to be ahead of Ali in the pecking order once he's healthy, the rookie would appear to have a lot of work to do to put himself in position to have fantasy value in 2024.
