Huntley will open the season as the primary backup to Lamar Jackson after Trace McSorley was waived Tuesday, Jeff Zrebiec of the Athletic reports.
Huntley has reportedly upped his game during training camp, but the Ravens could still be in trouble if Lamar Jackson has to miss an extended period of time, as was the case in doses last season. The 23-year-old Huntley's play style suits the Ravens' offense, so if he is thrust into game action the offense will remain relatively similar.
