Foster was released by the Cowboys on Saturday.
Foster spent the majority of the 2021 campaign on the Cowboys' practice squad after going unclaimed off waivers following an injury settlement with the Dolphins. The former Alabama wideout signed a reserve/future contract with Dallas in mid-January, so this move comes as a little bit of a surprise. As a rookie with Buffalo in 2018, Foster caught 27 of 44 targets for 541 yards and three touchdowns, but he was held under 100 yards in each of the next two seasons and didn't make an appearance in 2021.
