Nkemdiche (undisclosed) was released by the Seahawks on Tuesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Nkemdiche suffered an injury late in camp and missed out on Seattle's season-opening roster. It's unclear if the injury will affect the 26-year-old's search for a new team.
