The Jets cut Adams on Monday with a non-football illness designation, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Adams had linked a reserve/future deal with the Jets back in January, but he will now need to search for an opportunity elsewhere once fully healthy. He spent most of the 2021 season on Chicago's practice squad and appeared in one game with the team.
