Elliss (calf) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Giants, Jeff Nowak of The Big 870 New Orleans reports.
Elliss will miss a third consecutive game due to a calf injury. His next chance to play is Week 7 against the Steelers on Sunday, Oct. 25, though Elliss has yet to be cleared to practice. Danny Stutsman will once again start alongside Pete Werner at inside linebacker in Elliss's absence.
