Lock is expected to return to a backup role Sunday in Tennessee after Geno Smith (groin) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
Lock played reasonably well during Smith's two-week absence, but head coach Pete Carroll already confirmed after Monday's 20-17 win over the Eagles that Smith will return to the starting role when healthy, per Henderson. With Smith already kicking off Week 16 prep without any apparent restrictions, Lock will drop back to his usual No. 2 role this Sunday.
