Baker (hamstring) remains unable to practice, but the team is expecting him back before the start of the season, Jon Alfano of Sports Illustrated reports.

Baker has been out of action for two weeks so far, partly because the team has chosen to take a cautious approach. After six years in Miami, the Ohio State product joined Seattle on a one-year, $7 million contract, which came with high expectations after the loss of Bobby Wagner and Jordyn Brooks this offseason. While Baker remains sidelined, rookie Tyrice Knight will continue to get extra reps and experience with the first-team defense.
