Walker was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice due to an oblique injury, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
The Seahawks cited an abdominal injury as the reason Walker was deemed questionable to return during the fourth quarter of this past Sunday's win against the Broncos. Prior to Wednesday's session, head coach Mike Macdonald told Brady Henderson of ESPN.com that he wasn't sure if Walker would take part, and the team wants to take the running back's situation day by day. In the end, an oblique issue is the cause of Walker's absence to begin Week 2 prep, and if he ends up limited or sidelined Sunday at New England, Zach Charbonnet would be the primary beneficiary out of Seattle's backfield.
