Thorpe (abdomen) was placed on IR on Wednesday, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio KJR reports.
Thorpe will miss at least three weeks, so the earliest he could rejoin his teammates on the field will be Week 14 against the Jets. He normally plays a depth role in Seattle's struggling secondary while also contributing on special teams.
