Vannett (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Vannett has been dealing with an ankle sprain since mid-August and has yet to return to action. As soon as he returns to action, he will likely be an afterthought on offense as he sits behind Jimmy Graham and Luke Willson on the tight end depth chart.
