Wilson completed 22 of 34 pass attempts for 253 yards and an interception Sunday against the Saints. He added 11 yards on three carries in the 25-20 loss.
Presented with an excellent matchup on paper, Wilson was unable to find the end zone for the third straight game and managed a pedestrian 7.4 yards per attempt, despite completing 65 percent of his passes. Wilson has turned the ball over just three times, but he has only five passing touchdowns, has yet to score on the ground and has managed just 44 rushing yards through seven games. He has been hampered by injuries this season, and although his team sits at 4-2-1 he is clearly not performing up to the lofty standards he has set for himself. Seattle will face a Bills defense in Week 9 that just surrendered 41 points to New England, presenting Wilson with a chance to bounce back after another week's removal from his physical ailments.
