Smith has been sidelined due to multiple hip injuries this preseason with Seattle, though the exact nature of his most recent issue is still unclear. Nevertheless, the rookie fifth-rounder will now likely have to wait until the 2023 regular season to make his NFL debut, barring an injury settlement with the Seahawks.
