Seattle signed Jones from the practice squad to the 53-man roster Saturday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
The Seahawks needed running-back depth ahead of Sunday's matchup versus the Chargers after rookie Jadarian Price (chest) was placed on IR. Jones should slide into the team's No. 3 RB role behind Emanuel Wilson and George Holani. Jones was previously elevated from the practice squad twice this season and has logged 39 snaps, all on special teams.
