Shampklin rushed twice for 12 yards while securing all three of his targets for three yards during Friday's 20-12 preseason loss to the Texans.

Shampklin had the second-most touches of any player on the Steelers during Friday's preseason opener, but he was unable to do much with those opportunities. After signing a reserve/future contract with Pittsburgh in January, it seems unlikely that he'll earn a spot on the 53-man roster.
