Pittsburgh activated McFarland (knee) from its injured reserve list Monday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
McFarland is finally ready to return to action after he missed seven games recovering from a knee injury he sustained in Week 1 versus San Francisco. As long as Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren remain healthy though, McFarland's path to carries is relatively narrow.
