Claypool (ankle) didn't play in Saturday's preseason win over the Lions.
Claypool sustained a sprained ankle during Tuesday's practice, but the issue is considered minor. While Claypool was in uniform Saturday, he was held out of the contest as a precautionary measure. The 23-year-old doesn't appear to be in danger of missing the start of the regular season, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the Steelers limit his workload during the final few weeks of camp to preserve his long-term health.
