Benton is out for the remainder of Friday's preseason opener in Tampa Bay due to an ankle injury, Alan Saunders of PittsburghSportsNow.com reports.
Benton, a second-round selection in the offseason, tallied three tackles (two solo) prior to sustaining the injury. There is no word yet on the severity of the issue. When healthy, Benton is expected to start at nose tackle.
