The Steelers placed Allen (illness) on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.
Allen has played mainly on special teams this season, but his status for Sunday's game against Kansas City is now in jeopardy. Ulysees Gilbert could see a slight uptick in playing time if Allen is out Sunday.
