The Steelers placed Pittman (foot) on injured reserve Saturday.
With the expected move now official, Pittman will be required to miss at least the next four games, making Week 10 against the Bengals on Sunday, Nov. 15 the earliest that the veteran wide receiver can return. Roman Wilson and Germie Bernard are both in line for more offensive snaps for as long as Pittman is sidelined.
