Taimani (undisclosed) was waived from injured reserve by the Vikings on Tuesday, Craig Peters and Rob Kleifield of the team's official website reports.
Taimani reverted to injured reserve with Minnesota on Aug. 25 after going unclaimed on waivers. The defensive lineman is dealing with an undisclosed injury, but he will now have the chance to pass a physical and play with a new squad this season.
