Hoyer will not return to Monday's game against the Bengals due to a concussion, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Hoyer had completed 12 of 22 passes for 123 yards and an interception before getting knocked out of the game in the third quarter with a head injury. He has since been diagnosed with a concussion. His status for Sunday's tilt versus the Jets is up in the air, as he will need to pass the team's concussion protocol. T.J. Yates replaced Hoyer under center.
