Texans' Deshaun Watson: Confident about investigations
Watson's agent said the quarterback is "super confident" in how his legal situation will play out, Greg Rajan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Agent David Mulugheta touched on Watson's situation in a wide-ranging interview on the "Face/First" podcast hosted by Ryan Clark, an ESPN analyst and former NFL safety. Mulugheta could not get into specifics, but he made several references to "the truth" coming out. "We're pretty confident how this thing plays out. He's super confident in how it plays out," the agent said. "(In) today's society, unfortunately it's not about who's right, it's about who's first. So it's unfortunate but as somebody who's considered ... a public figure (there's) certain things you've got to deal with." Watson faces 22 civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault and misconduct as investigations by the Houston Police Department, FBI and NFL are ongoing.
