Jordan (hip) did not participate at practice Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Jordan suffered a hip flexor strain at practice in early August, and he still appears to be less than 100 percent. Fellow running back British Brooks (hand) returned to practice Monday after missing three weeks following hand surgery, and the two players are battling to secure a spot on Houston's initial 53-man roster as reserve options behind Woody Marks and David Montgomery.
