Ward has exited Sunday's game against the Buccaneers with a hamstring injury.
Ward was replaced by M.J. Stewart, who subsequently suffered a shoulder injury, now leaving the Texans depleted at safety. In their absence, DeAndre Houston-Carson has stepped in at strong safety. Ward is considered questionable to return.
