Moreland (undisclosed) was claimed off waivers by the Texans on Tuesday, independent NFL journalist Aaron Wilson reports.
Moreland was waived off Washington's injured reserve with an injury settlement Monday, and he's apparently fully healthy and ready to join his new team. The 26-year-old saw heavy action in all 16 games for the Football Team last year and totaled 43 tackles, one interception, one forced fumble and a half-sack.
