Fairbairn successfully booted field goals from 26 and 42 yards while adding an extra point in Thursday's 13-9 win over the Bengals.
We finally got to see Fairbairn attempt field goals, after he was limited to a lone extra point in Houston's season-opening loss to Jacksonville. Judging by the team's sluggish offense and inability to finish drives over the first two games of the season, Fairbairn may be a volume kicker this season.
