The Texans have placed Addison (thigh) on injured reserve prior to their Week 1 clash with the Colts.
Addison's placement on IR means he is required to be sidelined for at least four weeks. In his absence, Ogbonnia Okronkwo, Demone Harris and Rasheem Green (thigh) will be the remaining depth options on the edge.
