Collins (hamstring) wasn't spotted at the media-access portion of Thursday's practice, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN.com reports.
Collins has yet to resume practicing since injuring his hamstring in practice last Wednesday. The star wide receiver sat out Houston's Week 2 loss to the Bengals and is likely headed for another absence Sunday against the Colts. Collins will likely have to practice in some capacity Friday to avoid being ruled out ahead of Sunday's game.
