Boyle completed four of eight attempts for 28 yards in Friday's 20-12 preseason win over Pittsburgh.
Boyle was the third quarterback used following C.J. Stroud and Davis Mills. That he was used ahead of the 36-year-old Case Keenum likely doesn't suggest a change in the depth chart.
